In this episode of Knick Life Crisis, Ra and Al unpack the Knicks' Eastern Conference Finals loss to the Indiana Pacers in a tough 4–2 series. Recorded just hours before the surprising news of Coach Thibs’ firing, this episode captures the raw emotion, frustration, and hope that only true Knicks fans can deliver.
The guys kick things off with a rapid recap of Games 4, 5, and 6, then shift into a season reflection—highlighting the grit of Brunson, the growth of the team, and the heartbreak of falling short.
But things heat up fast.
From heated Karl-Anthony Towns debates to AL going full panic mode ("Trade EVERYONE!"), Ra tries to talk him off the ledge... sort of. The duo also wrestles with big offseason hypotheticals: Should Thibs come back? Do we want KD? What would we give up for Giannis? And where does OG Anunoby fit in all this?
And of course, Crisis Corner returns with some bold NBA Finals predictions—because the show must go on.
Whether you’re mourning the loss or dreaming up offseason trades, this is one you won’t want to miss.

Knick Life Crisis – “One Win Away”
Al and Ra are back and buzzing as the Knicks are now just one win away from the Eastern Conference Finals after delivering the biggest MSG playoff win in 25 years. The Garden was electric, and so is this episode.
The guys start by breaking down the Game 3 loss (1:18), including how changing up their game-watching routines may have cursed the Knicks. They dig into what went wrong on the court (7:48), but quickly shift to the bounce-back energy that defined Game 4. AL shares his Game 4 mindset, the urgency of a must-win (15:10), and the critical performances from Brunson and Bridges that helped swing momentum back in New York’s favor.
Ra brings some telling Game 4 stats to light (19:47), and AL lays out how the Knicks’ path to the NBA Finals may be more realistic than ever (29:06). But not everything is smooth sailing — the OG Anunoby injury sparks a debate about whether the team should risk him for Game 5 or save him for the potential Boston battle ahead (31:20).
The importance of closing out this series on Wednesday can’t be overstated (32:40), and you’ll hear both hosts fire up Knicks Nation with their thoughts — especially when it comes to a few choice words for Celtics fans and resident hater Dave Portnoy (36:28).
Looking ahead to Game 5, Ra and AL talk keys to victory and bracing for Boston’s best shot (40:15), before diving into Crisis Corner (43:50): the NBA Draft Lottery shocker with Dallas landing the #1 pick, what the Spurs might do at #2, playoff predictions, and Ra very clearly not wanting to talk about Julius Randle.

The Eastern Conference Semi-Finals couldn’t have started better — and Ra & Al are riding high after the Knicks stunned Boston by taking both Game 1 and Game 2 on the road. In this episode, the guys break down what’s working, how Thibs finally earned some flowers, and whether Jalen Brunson can help the Knicks stay locked in with a true Mamba Mentality.
Ra hilariously shares how he ducked out of a work event to catch the game (and survived watching Game 2 with a Celtics fan), while Al’s got receipts ready for all the doubters — including Thibs haters and Game 2 skeptics. They get into the X’s and O’s, the national reaction, and how a 21–2 run sealed one of the most thrilling Knicks playoff wins in years.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Knick Life Crisis without a Crisis Corner, where the guys sound off on Popovich’s latest move, the Cavs/Pacers dogfight, and whether the Warriors era is finally over.
